Bólya, Anna Mária project leader

In cooperation with CYENS Centre of Excellence, Corvinus University Centre for Cognitive Infocommunication, University of Debrecen Faculty of Informatics, Arts and Research Ltd, universities, colleges, schools and ensembles involved in ballet and folk dance education, the HAA Research Institute of Art Theory and Methodology started international collaborative pilot projects. These pilots have introduced didactic innovations using innovative technology in dance history, ballet and folk dance education. The plans for these innovations were outlined in a publication entitled Dance and Method, produced by HAA RIATM in collaboration with the Hungarian Dance University and the University of Debrecen in 2021. As part of the pilots, 3D presentation spaces, motion capture recordings and research-based, user-friendly curricula were created and tested. The results, ongoing work and collaborative plans were discussed twice at the International Conference on Applications of Virtual Reality in Performing Arts.
